This week, we’re going all-out to celebrate a wonderful woman who has had a major impact in the entertainment industry over the past 13 years of her career, especially when it comes to the, well, marvelous leading performance for which she is best known. WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Brosnahan stars as the titular Miriam “Midge” Maisel in hit Amazon Prime Original title The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which is exclusively releasing its fourth season on the platform this Friday, February 18th. The latest season of this comedy-drama series out of Amy Sherman-Palladino kicks off in 1960, with change in the air, inspiring our characters to make moves and take names. Looking to hone her act, Midge (Brosnahan) gets a gig with complete creative freedom, but her commitment to her craft—and the places it takes her—creates a rift between her and her family and friends.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Brosnahan’s professional onscreen career started strong in 2009, with roles in two feature films: horror mystery-thriller The Unborn and comedy The Truth About Average Guys.
