7 Shows Like ‘Bosch’

With plenty of other detectives to invest in, HBO’s classic The Wire may be the perfect show for all Bosch-heads. The long-running series peers into the Baltimore narcotics scene through the eyes of both the enforcers and the drug dealers. Balancing a handful of different perspectives to create one mural of the city, The Wire follows themes of bureaucracy, government, and control. The series was created by author David Simon, a former police reporter from the area.

Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) gets celebrities. He just gets them, somehow, in a way that no other person does. It’s a trickier job than his time as a thug in Boston, but it’s well-paid and he’s stellar at what he does. He helps everyone from athletes to A-list stars, making their problems disappear along the way. If you enjoyed the titular presence of Bosch on Bosch, you’ll also get a kick out of Ray Donovan.

With the clock always ticking, Cardinal has to be constantly on-the-run to keep everyone in his town safe from harm’s way.

The Killing is a darker Prime Video series helmed by one detective, Sarah Linden, who works at the Seattle Police Department. They manage to pull together in the name of the law, but with Sarah still uncertain of their future together, they’ve got a long road ahead of them.
