7 Shows Like ‘Lucifer’

Lucifer is back and better than ever. The second part of Season 5 has just debuted on Netflix, full of steamy, mysterious episodes like the ones that came before. The return of the series has landed it in the first position in Netflix’s Top 10 Movies and Shows of the day — now’s the perfect time to catch up on the series. But if you’ve already whipped through eight new episodes, worry not! There are plenty of other shows similar to Lucifer available to stream on Netflix, and we’re here to recommend just a few.

The latest season of the series picks up right where we left the Lord of Hell (Tom Ellis) in the middle of Season 5: in the middle of a fight, about to face confrontation from God. The second half of Season 5 includes dinner parties, karaoke jam sessions, and plenty of other fantastic drama. Lucifer has already been renewed for a sixth season. Even though you’ll have to wait a little while for new episodes to drop on Netflix, rest assured: they are on the way. But that’ll be all for the series, as Netflix has announced Season 6 will conclude the entire series.

Looking for more shows like Lucifer to watch once you’ve binged the rest of the Season 5 episodes? We’ve got you covered. Here are seven shows like Lucifer to watch on Netflix:

Shadow and Bone is a newer Netflix saga — before it delves into more seasons, start at the very beginning. The series is based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels, which follow a young cartographer with undiscovered powers that can control the elements. If she wants to save her village from war and the ominous Shadow Fold, she’ll have to team up with the other Grisha to spar against the dark matter. But that’s not without a little romance and drama along the way, of course.

The Norwegian series has themes of climate change and environmental destruction, following the effects torrential downpours, hurricanes, and other massive natural disasters have on a small town in the country. A slew of teenagers band together to battle the elements, bringing their own history and powers to merge as one strong force for humanity.
