Memorial Day 2021 is around the corner. And yes, that means sales. But even we didn’t expect to see this massive 70-inch JVC 4K Roku TV for just $548 at Walmart. You heard that right, that’s $352 off the original price of $900, part of the giant retailer’s early Memorial Day sales.
Though Walmart has been touting its appliances and patio and garden sales for the upcoming holiday, we were thrilled to find this incredible deal on a well-reviewed smart TV from JVC, right in time for summer. The JVC 70-inch screen comes with a 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160, for the brightest, sharpest picture, plus it has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, to help regulate swift action and provide better sports viewing.
But if you’re planning on spending some of your holiday weekend catching up with TV shows and movies, it’s the built-in Roku smart TV platform that’s going to appeal to you most. Friends: The Reunion premiered on HBO Max on Thursday, May 27, and it’s going to be so nice to just turn on this brand new TV, download the HBO Max app on the Roku interface, and get right to streaming. You’ll also be able to access over 5000 different streaming channels, like Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu.
The free Roku app, which you can download on your iOS or Android phone, also lets you use voice control to search content, and cast personal media to the JVC TV.
