J. Cole isn’t only dropping his new album, The Off-Season, this week — the rapper is also releasing an entire documentary to accompany it. This past Sunday (May 9), J. Cole announced the short documentary, Applying Pressure: The Off-Seasonvia an Instagram teaser. “This is the moment that a lot of your favorite rappers hit a crossroad,” J. Cole says in the clip. “Are you okay with getting comfortable? Did you leave no stone unturned creatively? And when I thought about that feeling, I was like: Nah, I’m not cool with that.”

The rapper has already dropped a single from the album called “i n t e r l u d e,” which is now available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. The Off-Season was “years in the making,” J. Cole wrote in another Instagram post, and comes three years after his most recent album, KOD.
