Terry managed to trace this cult back to The Church of Scientology and Charles Manson’s family. His dedication to these conspiracy theories cost Terry his professional credibility and personal friends. The Sons of Sam is a docuseries that explores the possible hidden truth of this case, the gullibility of the public, and the dangers of being swept away by conspiracy theory rabbit holes all at once.
