When Will Pose Season 3 Premiere on FX?

The next few Sundays need to be reserved for a new kind of church. Starting this Sunday, May 2, Pose Season 3 will premiere on FX with two new episodes. After that the series will air a new episode a week.

What Time Will Pose Season 3 Be on FX?

You’re in for a late night this Sunday. The first episode of Pose Season 3, “On the Run,” premieres May 2 starting at 10/9c p.m. That will then be immediately followed by “Intervention” at 11/10c p.m.

Will Pose Season 3 Be on Hulu?

This is where things get complicated. Yes, Pose is an FX show, and yes, FX shows typically go to Hulu due to the FX on Hulu deal. But Pose is a special case. The series premiered before the FX of Hulu deal was made and was acquired by Netflix.

That means Pose Season 3 won’t be on Hulu, but it will eventually be coming to Netflix. You’ll only be able to watch Pose on Hulu if you’re subscribed to Hulu + Live TV.

How to Watch Pose on FX and Hulu

Have a desperate need to watch Billy Porter live? We completely understand. Now is a great time to still have cable. If you still have it then all you need to do is make sure your TV is turned to FX before 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 2. Then you’re set. You even have an option if you prefer to watch from your computer, tablet, or phone. As long as you enter your cable username and password, you’re ready to watch.

But what if you don’t subscribe to traditional cable? Welcome to the world of live TV skinny bundles. If you have Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, or YouTube TV then you have a way to watch Pose Season 3 live. Unfortunately, that’s where your options end.

Because Netflix bought Pose before the FX on Hulu deal, new episodes of Pose will not be available to stream on basic or ad free Hulu the day after they premiere. In fact the only way to watch Pose on Hulu is through Hulu + Live TV. Pose Season 3 will eventually end up on Netflix, but if we can trust history, it will likely take a while. Season 2 of the drama ended in August of 2019, but it wasn’t available on Netflix until June of 2020. Based on this timeline Pose Season 3 likely won’t be on Netflix until 10 months from its finale.
