New Movies and Shows to Stream This Weekend: I Care A LotNomadland and Tell Me Your Secrets

What this weekend’s list of new releases perhaps in large quantity, it makes up for in amazing quality. The Golden Globe-nominated drama Nomadland is now available to stream on Hulu, while the buzzy black comedy I Care a Lot is waiting to build on to your dark humor over on Netflix. And if you are looking for a new crime/thriller drama, look no further than the morality-blurring Tell Me Your Secrets, the Amazon Prime Video series that is sure to take your mind off of the stresses you have been dealing with all week. There are so many more great movies and shows like these available to check out this weekend. And to get started, check out some highlights from the great movies and shows now streaming we’ve listed below:

New on Netflix February 19: I Care A Lot

Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) is in her element in the latest Netflix-original film, I Care A Lot. New on Netflix this weekend, this dark comedy thriller centers on a woman who profits off stealing from old people and putting them in her retirement home. But this con-woman may have met her match when newest old lady target turns out to be the mother of the Russian mafia’s head boss (played expertly by Peter Dinklage). And the mafia isn’t known to abandon their own, or pay randoms in any way, shape or form. Marla Grayson (Pike) is going to have to step up her game if she plans on making it out of this situation alive — let alone with yet another profit under her belt. Watch it all go down in I Care A Lot, one of the top movies out on Netflix this month.

New on Hulu February 19: Nomadland

Nomadland‘s early Golden Globe nomination caught our immediate attention when the list of nominees came out just a few weeks ago, and now we can finally check it out new on Hulu this weekend. Directed by Chloé Zhao, the critically-acclaimed film stars Frances McDormand as Fern, a woman who leaves her Nevada town after the plant she worked at is shut down. As she embarks on a road trip through the American West to find work, she comes across modern-day nomads and learns the true meanings behind some of the greatest parts of life. You must be sure to watch Nomadland, at least so you can be well versed when it sweeps the awards season this year.

New on Prime Video February 12: Tell Me Your Secrets

New on Amazon Prime Video this weekend is Tell Me Your Secrets, the intense original series that blurs the line between victim and perpetrator The crime drama tells the stories of three individual people — Emma (Lily Rabe), a young woman who once faced off against a dangerous killer, John (Hamish Linklater), a former serial predator desperate to find redemption, and Mary (Amy Brenneman), a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter. But as these three seemingly-separate beings get pushed closer and closer to the edge of madness, the truth about their pasts becomes even murkier than before. In the end, even the viewer won’t be able to figure out what is moral anymore.
