Big Sky just introduced its second most shocking cliffhanger: There’s no new episode this winter. That’s right, Big Sky is on hiatus once again.

When Does Big Sky Return from Hiatus? When Will the Rest of of Big Sky Premiere?
Update: We finally have a return date. ABC’s drama is set to return Tuesday, April 13 starting at 9/8c p.m. That’s right. You’re not getting one new episode but two.
Titled “Catastrophic Thinking” and “All Kinds of Snakes”, here are the episode descriptions released by ABC:

That’s another thing we don’t know. Big Sky already took a break from mid December to late January, and it’s about to take another one this February. It’s possible that after the series returns in spring it will take yet another break before its final batch of episodes. But you can bet we’ll be here reporting the second we know more.
How Many Episodes Are Left in Big Sky?
Altogether there will be 16 episodes in Big Sky’s first season. This news came after ABC gave the series an additional six episode order shortly after its premiere. At this point we’ve only seen the first nine, meaning there are still seven episodes left.
Will There Be a Big Sky Season 2?
ABC has yet to renew their breakout 2020 series for a Season 2. But that doesn’t mean it’s one and done. We still have a lot more episodes to watch, so there are a lot more opportunities to renew this one.
