‘Minari’ to Stream Early in A24’s New Screening Room

A24 is giving fans a chance to see Minari at home before it drops on streaming services later this month. Starting today, viewers can purchase tickets to see Minari in the A24 screening room, where the film officially premieres Friday, Feb. 12. Described by A24 as “a new virtual cinema platform,” the screening room was created specifically for Minari, allowing audiences to better access the film during the pandemic.

Minari screenings kick off Feb. 12 at 7/6c and continue through Feb. 25. To buy tickets to a virtual showing of Minari, you’ll need an account with A24, which you can create on the A24 website. After creating your account, select your preferred screening time. A24 is only hosting one screening per night, so tickets sell out fast. But keep checking back on the website to see which showing are sold out and which are still available.

Right now, tickets are $20 per screening. Once you enter your payment info and purchase your ticket, A24 will send you a reminder email the day of your screening. You can find your tickets on the A24 website under “My Tickets,” and you can stream Minari after the designated start time. You can watch Minari on your TV through  Chromecast, Apple TV or Airplay, Roku, or HDMI, but you’ll only have four hours to watch the film and any bonus content, so be sure to log in to the A24 website not too long after your start time.

While A24 is rolling out Minari in its new screening room, the Steven Yeun film will also be released simultaneously in theaters this Friday, and will premiere on VOD Friday, Feb. 26. The drama, which has been earning plenty of awards season buzz between the SAG Awards and Critics Choice nominations, follows a Korean American family settling down in Arkansas to run a farm and find pursue their own vision of the American dream.
