Directed by Doug Liman and written by Steven Knight, this romantic comedy heist stars Ejiofor and Hathaway as a couple quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic. Locked Down — which many of you appear to be spelling as Lockdown — will begin streaming on HBO Max on Thursday, January 14. That’s tomorrow!

WHAT TIME WILL LOCKED DOWN BE ON HBO MAX?

Original titles on HBO Max tend to drop at 12:01 a.m PT, or 3:01 a.m. ET, on the morning of release day. Therefore, Locked Down will begin streaming on HBO Max either very early on the morning of Thursday, January 14; or very late on the night of Wednesday, January 13; depending on your timezone and your tendency to be pedantic.

HOW TO WATCH THE NEW ANNE HATHAWAY MOVIE LOCKED DOWN:

The only way to watch Locked Down is with a subscription to HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max. HBO Max costs $14.99 a month, and if you’re already an HBO Now subscriber, there’s a good chance you already have access to it. No. Unfortunately, the HBO Max free trial offer ended last month, ahead of the release of Wonder Woman on the streaming service.
