‘A Bowie Celebration’: How to Watch the David Bowie Tribute Concert

Happy birthday, David Bowie. Tomorrow, a rocking list of musical talent will join forces to celebrate what would have been David Bowie’s 74th birthday and the fifth anniversary of his death on January 10. Presented by Mike Garson, the music legend’s longest-standing band member, A Bowie Celebration will feature performances from a long list of artists and musicians, including Boy George, Duran Duran, and Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor.

WHEN IS A BOWIE CELEBRATION 2021?

A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day concert was scheduled to stream Friday, January 8, but due to technical difficulties and COVID-19 restrictions, the live stream was postponed until Saturday, January 9 (or January 10, depending on your time zone).

WHAT TIME IS A BOWIE CELEBRATION: JUST FOR ONE DAY?

The David Bowie birthday concert begins at 6 p.m. PT or 9 p.m. ET. The concert will be available to stream for 24 hours beginning at the following times:

Los Angeles: January 9 at 6 p.m. PT
New York City: January 9 at 9 p.m. PT
London: January 10 at 2 a.m. GMT
Berlin: January 10 at 3 a.m. CET
Tokyo: January 10 at 11 a.m. JST
Sydney: January 10 at 1 p.m. AEDT

HOW TO WATCH THE DAVID BOWIE TRIBUTE CONCERT LIVE

Access to A David Bowie Celebration requires a ticket, which can be purchased for $25 on Rolling Live Studios’ event page. After purchasing a ticket, fans will receive an email with detailed instructions about how to live stream the concert.

The 2021 David Bowie tribute concert, which also serves as a fundraiser for the Save the Children organization, will be presented by Mike Garson, David Bowie’s longtime piano player. Garson will be joined by a who’s who of musical talent, including Boy George, Pretty Reckless bandleader Taylor Momsen, Ricky Gervais, Ground Control supergroup with Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), Duran Duran, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), William Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), Peter Frampton, and more.
