Much like celebrity editions of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Family FeudCelebrity Wheel of Fortune  will see today’s biggest stars compete to win up to $1 million for their favorite charity. The spinoff marks the first time the classic game show will air in primetime after almost 40 years in syndication, but other than the special guests and new time slot, viewers should expect the same old Wheel of Fortune format.

According to ABC, Wheel of Fortune is the most successful game show in television history. The iconic property, which aired on NBC and then CBS before finding its current home at ABC, is currently in its 38th season in syndication and averages more than 8 million viewers per night. The network has renewed Wheel of Fortune through the 2022-2023 season, but it’s likely that it will continue to live on well beyond that.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune debuts Thursday, January 7 at 8/7c on ABC.
