Amanda Kloots, Elaine Welteroth to Co-Host ‘The Talk’ Full Time

The Talk is welcoming Amanda Kloots and Elaine Welteroth as cohosts for Season 11, CBS announced today. Kloots and Welteroth will be joining the daytime talk show beginning early next year, taking a seat at The Talk table alongside costars Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Viewers will recognize Kloots and Welteroth, who both appeared on The Talk as guest hosts multiple times in October and November. The new additions come not long after The Talk lost two cohosts — Marie Osmond exited the show last season, and Eve will be leaving this month.

“I am thrilled and honored to join this incredible cast and crew,” Kloots said in a statement. “From the very first time I guest co-hosted on The Talk, I knew I was among a very special group of people. I look forward to starting off the new year with honest and thought-provoking discussions, mixed with plenty of fun and laughter too.”

Welteroth added, “I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the phenomenal women of The Talk. They have each made me feel right at home alongside them on this incredible platform that cultivates connection, kindness and understanding when we all need it most. I look forward to learning from them and lending my perspective to conversations that build bridges in this singular time in our world.”

Kloots, who is a former Broadway dancer and current fitness trainer, made headlines this spring with the death of her husband, actor Nick Cordero, who died of complications caused by Covid-19. Since his death, she’s continued to advocate for coronavirus prevention on social media, and is currently planning to release a memoir with her sister this summer.

Welteroth is an author, journalist and producer who is the former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, a title she made history for in 2016 as the youngest top editor in the history of Conde Nast. With a career that’s also included positions at Ebony and Glamour, Welteroth has used her fashion expertise as a judge on Bravo’s Project Runway. Her book, “More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are No Matter What They Say” landed on the New York Times bestseller list in 2019.

The Talk Season 11 kicks off Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at 2/1c on CBS.
