New Movies and Shows to Stream This Weekend: Emily in Paris, Monsterland, and Savage x Fenty Show

Like we said above, this weekend’s streaming batch has a bunch of tricks and treats for every audience member. On Netflix there is a ton of new original titles including the dramedy series Emily in Paris and the comedy-horror film Vampires vs. the Bronx. Once you’ve finished battling New Yorker vampires as well as the giggles you’re sure to be in the spooky mood, which is perfect for the new horror anthology series on Hulu: Monsterland. And be sure to check out Volume 2 of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show, premiering on Amazon Prime Video this weekend. You are sure to watch some amazing women slay, but in an entirely different way! New on Netflix October 2: Emily in Paris

Sex and the City creator Darren Star has returned to the dramedy landscape with his new Netflix-original series, Emily in Paris. Starring Lily Collins, the new show centers around a young woman named Emily (duh) who moves to Paris when her company is bought by a French corporation. With a new location comes new adventures, as Emily must figure out the French working strategy, make new friends, tries to fit in with her coworkers and — of course — fall in love a few times. Energetic, sassy and all-around fun, Emily in Paris is not only one of the 10 best new shows to watch on Netflix, it is also one top shows to watch this month in general; so you know it is bound to be a smash hit.

New on Amazon Prime Video October 2: Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2

Move over, Victoria’s Secret, the Savage X Fenty Show is the must-watch fashion show on streaming! And after a stellar first release last year, Rihanna’s latest lingerie collection is about to make waves through Vol. 2, new on Amazon Prime Video this weekend. And since this is a Rihanna fashion show, you know it will be less runway and more artistic exhibition: filled with dancing, performance art, musical numbers and much more. So get your credit cards ready because the new fall line is about to go off thanks to Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2.

New on Hulu October 2: Monsterland

New on Hulu this weekend is the perfect new series to usher in the Halloween season: Monsterland. This anthology series based on Nathan Ballingrud’s “North American Lake Monsters” collection tells eight different stories that combines the horrors of mythology with the horrors of reality. What would an encounter with mermaids, fallen angels, strange beats and more do to already-broken people? Featuring an all-star cast including Kaitlyn Dever, Kelly Marie Tran, Mike Colter, Taylor Schilling, and more, Monsterland is a dark, twisted and perfectly spooky series that explores what desperation could do to people in the most insane of circumstances.
