Vice TV’s engrossing docuseries Dark Side of the Ring has become must-see TV for pro wrestling fans. Premiering in April of 2019, the first season of the series, which featured episodes on the infamous “Montreal Screwjob,” the killing of Bruiser Brody, and the tumultuous relationship between Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, quickly attracted a passionate audience.
The second season improved upon the show’s stellar debut, with Season 2 adding the legendary Chris Jericho as narrator and producing episodes on the double-murder and subsequent suicide of Chris Benoit, as well as the tragic death of beloved professional wrestler Owen Hart.

WILL THERE BE A DARK SIDE OF THE RING SEASON 3?
The series has yet to be officially renewed for a third season, but considering Dark Side of the Ring is the highest-rated show in Vice TV history, a Season 3 renewal is a near certainty. During a recent interview with SI.com, executive producer Evan Husney revealed that a third season of the series is “something everybody involved wants to do.”
“Vice wants to make a Season 3, we would love to see it happen,” Husney said, “and we’re in those stages of conversation.”
WHEN WILL DARK SIDE OF THE RING SEASON 3 PREMIERE?
*** UPDATE (4/8/21): It’s official! Dark Side of the Ring Season 3 premieres May 6, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Vice TV! ***
The Season 1 finale of Dark Side of the Ring aired on May 15, 2019 and the second season premiered March 24, 2020. Assuming the series is renewed in the near future and productions can go back to a relatively normal shooting schedule in the late summer/early fall, we expect Season 3 to premiere in the spring or summer of 2021.
If coronavirus-related delays continue to persist, the Season 3 release date would obviously be delayed.
