Is Justin Timberlake done saying “Bye Bye Bye” to *NSYNC? On Tuesday night, fellow *NSYNC-er Lance Bass called in to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and explained that the quarantine has been good for the beloved boy band, as it’s given them time to reconnect through Zoom cocktail parties and podcast interviews. Bass revealed that while Timberlake spent years trying to distance himself from the group, he may be open to a potential reunion once they emerge from isolation. Please excuse me while I scream.

Even in isolation, Andy Cohen knows how to get that tea. “Since Justin Timberlake rarely does stuff with the entire *NSYNC group, were you surprised when he agreed to do your podcast?” asked the Bravo host last night, referencing a March episode of Bass’ podcast, The Daily Popcast. “And does this bode well for a full-fledged *NSYNC reunion?”

“No, I wasn’t surprised he wanted to do it. I loved it,” said Bass. “I thought it was fun and I heard a lot of things for the first time coming out of Justin’s mouth about *NSYNC.” The singer added that Timberlake “doesn’t really talk about *NSYNC too much,” so it was “great to hear his perspective” and chat with him about their “curly roots.”

“What was the biggest headline you heard?” asked Cohen (always stirring the pot, Andy!). “That he actually would be interested in talking about a reunion,” replied Bass. Not an emphatic “yes,” but I’ll take it.

Bass added that the podcast interviews “bonded us even more, especially during this quarantine,” and the free time has given them a chance to reconnect. “Your relationships, they get tighter. So now we have happy hours every week together on Zoom, which is really fun,” he said. And yes, Timberlake attends every week. It wouldn’t be a happy hour without him.

Watch Lance Bass dish on a potential *NSYNC reunion at the 2:25 mark in the clip above.
