‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ is Now Streaming on Starz

Good news for Starz subscribers: Quentin Tarantino‘s Oscar-winning film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is now streaming on Starz.

While Tarantino super fans no doubt made sure to see the filmmaker’s ninth movie in theaters, and on 70mm film no less, others may not have had the chance. Set in 1969 Los Angeles, this is truly a movie for people who love movies. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Rick Dalton, star of a Western TV, while Brad Pitt plays his stunt double and best friend, Cliff Booth. Based loosely on several real-life Hollywood stars, including Burt Reynolds and his longtime stunt double Hal Needham, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood blends fact, fiction, and fantasy, like any good fairytale. It also indulges in some revisionist history, as Tarantino often does, with regards to the Manson Family and the murder of Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie in the film.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood won Brad Pitt the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and was widely praised by critics as one of Tarantino’s best films. For a while, it seemed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was leading in the race for 2019’s Best Picture, though that honor ultimately went to Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite, which became the first non-English language film ever to take home the Academy Award for Best Picture.

If you have a Starz subscription, you can now stream Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. If you don’t have a Starz subscription, you can sign-up and receive a special offer price of $4.99 for three months of Starz, which should give you plenty of time to watch and rewatch the two hours and 40 minute Tarantino flick. Additionally, if you have AT&T and are a new subscriber, you can currently get Starz for free!

Of course, you can also rent or buy Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, iTunes, YouTube, Google Play, Vudu, and more.

Now go tell Leonardo DiCaprio he’s good at acting.
