AT&T is helping subscribers stay “connected together” as the remain self-isolated due to the novel coronavirus. Beginning March 26, AT&T’s WarnerMedia will be offering free HBO, Cinemax, Starz, and Epix to customers who do not already subscribe to the premium cable networks. Free Westworld for everyone!

According to Deadline, WarnerMedia is now offering premium content on a staggered basis to DirecTV, U-Verse, AT&T TV, and AT&T Now customers who do not already have access to the channels. From March 26 to April 4, DirecTV and U-Verse package subscribers will be able to access premium Starz content for free. The following week, from April 4 to April 16, all AT&T customers can watch Epix content, and from April 17 to 20 the company will be offering HBO and Cinemax titles.

This rollout will encourage subscribers to get hooked on new springtime series, including HBO’s Westworld Season 3, Starz’s Outlander Season 5, and Epix original Belgravia, before WarnerMedia’s HBO Max launches in May. WarnerMedia has yet to set an official launch date for HBO Max, but its parent company has already begun to rethink its advertising campaign as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread. Deadline reports that AT&T recently launched the #ConnectedTogether Campaign across its vast portfolio with the goal of “reinforc[ing] the power of connectivity during times of fear and division.”

AT&T’s WarnerMedia is one of many distributors to offer free content to viewers stuck at home due to the coronavirus outbreak. Earlier this week, Spectrum TV announced that cable customers will have access to Showtime and Epix for the next three weeks. On the streaming side, CBS All Access is currently offering a free one-month trial, while Amazon Prime Video has opened up dozens of children’s titles for free. Even Pornhub is getting in on the action: on Tuesday, the adult entertainment site announced that it will be offering free Pornhub Premium for all users. The company also announced that it will be donating 50,000 surgical masks to New York City medical workers, an actual, non-porn related good deed.
