Ryan Murphy has announced who will be in American Horror Story Season 10’s cast. And get ready to be psyched. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be returning to the horror anthology series for Season 10. But they aren’t the only big names in your near future. Say hello to Macaulay Culkin’s reign on AHS.

The last time Peters was on American Horror Story, he played Tate Langdon in Apocalypse as well as several other roles including Mr. Gallant, James Patrick March (Peters’ character from Hotel), and Jeff Pfister. In that same season, Paulson also reprised her role as Cornelia Goode, her Supreme character in Coven, as well as Murder House‘s psychic Billie Dean Howard. That same season saw the actor take on a new role as the evil Ms. Venable. With all the characters they’ve had to play recently it’s no wonder these two wanted a break from the series.

The news was first released on Murphy’s Instagram. Set against a brooding beach scene, the video plays “Dead of Night” by Orville Peck as it scrolls through the actors we can expect to see in this new season. In addition to Paulson, Peters, and Culkin, series regulars Angelica Ross, Adina Porter, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, and Leslie Grossman will all be in this new installment.

Not much is known about the theme of this notoriously mysterious show or when it will premiere. The most we can surmise from the co-creator’s video is that it will be brooding and beachy. Also, since new seasons typically airs in fall we can likely expect to see Season 10 later this year. But that cast list is an exciting change of pace for the series.

Both Paulson and Peters stepped away from American Horror Story during last year’s AHS: 1984. Season 9 marked the first time the series had released a season without these two iconic actors, and many fans worried that their time on the FX drama was over. Thankfully those fears were unwarranted. Not only are these two actors returning, they’re bringing AHS‘ long-running actor favorites Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates, and Adina Porter with them. Both Wittrock and Rabe made appearances in 1984 as members of the Richter family. But Bates and Porter skipped last season. The last time they appeared in AHS was in Apocalypse.

These incredible stars will join the acting talents of AHS‘ newer favorites. Billie Lourd made her first AHS appearance in Cult where she played Winter Anderson and Linda Kasabian. Ever since she’s been a series mainstay. But despite their longer histories with Murphy on Popular and Pose respectively, both Angelica Ross and Leslie Grossman are newer to the AHS family. Grossman first appeared as a minor role in Cult before being a series regular in Apocalypse and 1984. And Ross’ first role in the series happened last season. This new lineup feels like a merging of two different eras of this beloved series.

And that merging is coming at a perfect time. Earlier this year FX renewed American Horror Story for three new seasons. Fingers crossed there will be a lot more crossovers and surprises in our future.
