The Wedding Episode of ‘Justin Bieber: Seasons’ Is All You Need This Valentine’s Day

I’m never one to advise people to skip a romantic comedy, but if you’re truly looking for the sweetest thing to watch this Valentine’s Day, it’s Justin Bieber: Seasons on YouTube. Yes, it is!

While much of the 10-part docuseries follows Justin’s journey in the studio as he records his latest album (out today!), it also follows an integral part of that process which is his relationship with now-wife Hailey (formerly Baldwin, now Bieber). She’s shown supporting him in the studio and discussing his work ethic (as well as his annoying qualities, as any good wife is able to identify) and even zipping him into a hyperbaric chamber: what a gal! If you only know her from paparazzi photos and modeling campaigns, you should know that Hailey comes across as incredibly caring and totally normal despite her popularity. Just wait until you get to Episode 4 which will really grab you right in the heart. There is even footage of the first time these two ever met! Can you even?!

But Episode 8, which basically serves as the couple’s home movie of their wedding, is sweeter than a big old box of chocolates. Justin explains how he proposed in the Bahamas (he was shaking!), Hailey tells her friends how she can’t cry in public as they all gasp at the first sight of her in the dress, and we learn that the same is not true for her father Stephen Baldwin who is shown dabbing at his tears just moments before he walks her down the aisle. Again, can you even?!

I dare you to try to control the smile on your face when Justin asks for the vows to be explained to him (in all fairness, “in token and pledge” is a weird phrase) while they are in the middle of reciting the vows to each other. Usher randomly bursts into singing “Bad Girl” while the couple is cutting the cake, Kendall Jenner is just “so happy, you have no idea,” and the whole thing is a surprisingly un-celebrity, simple wedding — that, you know, probably costs a ton of money and boasts an A-list guest list. The day truly looked so beautiful and happy and filled with love. And then the real surprise came.

At the suggestion of the brilliant Allison Kaye in his management, Justin recreated one of his most adored concert moments and had his new wife sit in a chair on stage with the distinct honor of being serenaded to “One Less Lonely Girl.” Guess what? I watched it twice and even as I wrote this, full-body chills every single time. CAN YOU EVEN?!

While they’re one of the most photographed couples in the world, watching their wedding footage felt like being let in on a secret. It was personal and understated and sweet, not to mention a ton of fun, and will make even the biggest cynics a belieber in not just their love, but all love.
