‘One-Punch Man’ Episode 21 Has Been Delayed

Every Tuesday at around 1:05 p.m., anime fans sit back, relax, and prepare to enjoy an all-new episode of One-Punch Man Season 2 on Hulu. New episodes of the popular series premiere on the streaming platform the same day the show airs in Japan, so it’s been fairly easy to stay up to date on the new season. Yesterday, fans signed into Hulu expecting to enjoy One-Punch Man Season 2, Episode 9 (“The Troubles of the Strongest”) only to be met by a taunting “upcoming” tab over the episode.

So they waited. And waited. And waited.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but One-Punch Man Episode 21 has been delayed. Comicbook.com reports that the official One-Punch Man Twitter account posted a tweet informing fans that there’d be no all-new episode this week. The reason? Tennis.

“Due to the French Open 2019 schedule, One-Punch Man episode 21, “The Strongest Trouble”, has been delayed its broadcast,” the tweet read, as translated by Comicbook.com. “It will broadcast on June 11. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Who knew that tennis would be the one foe that could thwart One-Punch Man?

Since the episode will air in Japan on June 11th, we expect that it’ll arrive on Hulu on the same day. Decider reached out to Hulu for confirmation and will update this story with any new information. In the meantime, here’s the synopsis for One-Punch Man Episode 21:

“Just as Suiryu finds himself in the depths of despair, Saitama suddenly appears to help him out. But despite all Saitama’s strength, there’s still something bugging the hero that he just can’t seem to shake.”
