YouTube’s Weird City is a ton of fun. Premiering last week, Jordan Peele and Charlie Sanders’ inventive new program is a delightful mix of comedy and sci-fi. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Dylan O’Brien, Rosario Dawson, Michael Cera, Steven Yeun, and Laverne Cox, the six-episode satirical anthology series is a sophisticated amalgamation of Black Mirror, The Twilight Zone, and sketch comedy. Set in the not-too-distant future metropolis of Weird, the city is divided into two sections: Above the Line (The Haves) and Below the Line (The Have Nots). With the middle class eliminated, each episode explores a topic that pertains to modern life… but with a twist.
The first two episodes of this sci-fi comedy are currently available to stream on YouTube Premium, but many fans are interested in how they can watch the rest of the series for free.
