Who Is The Fiji Water Girl From the Golden Globes? Meet Model Kelleth Cuthbert

Last night, one person took the Golden Globes red carpet by storm — and no, it wasn’t Lady Gaga. It was the Fiji Water girl, who passed out water like it was nobody’s business and managed to maneuver her way into the background of every photo. After becoming the first great meme of the 2019 Golden Globes, the water girl created a Twitter account and revealed her true identity. Meet Kelleth Cuthbert, a young model who really knows how to make a splash (and other water-related puns).

Viewers got their first look at Cuthbert as soon as the stars hit the red carpet. When she wasn’t occupied holding a tray of Fiji bottles, she was photobombing stars left and right, including Golden Globes winners Richard Madden and Cody Fern (for The Assassination of Gianni Versace),  and before long, viewers were speculating about the dark-haired woman and her award-worthy smize.

So, who is this meme-worthy model? According to her Instagram, Cuthbert is a Wilhelmina model who has appeared in dozens of shoots for major brands and fashion magazines, including Pure Luxury, Basic, and Soluna Swim. Cuthbert’s new Twitter page is filled with photos from previous shoots, head shots, and more, plus some A-plus jokes about being the Fiji Water girl.

While Cuthbert is still a minor mystery, one fashion photograph who has worked with her raves about the young model. “The Fiji Water girl is my fave model to work with,” tweeted photographer Ema Suvajac. “Though you can’t tell, she’s also freaking hilarious!!”

According to a statement from Fiji Water given to CNET, Cuthbert is “a Los Angeles-based model and first-time FIJI water brand ambassador” who “hydrated guests on the red carpet and during the star-studded show.” The bottled water company promises that they “will continue to hydrate more of Hollywood this coming awards season,” so does that mean we’ll see more of Fiji Water girl Kelleth Cuthbert? Here’s hoping.
