Watch Emma Stone Be Mistaken for Emma Watson on ‘Billy on the Street’

Billy on the Street is back, bitches. Just a week after Billy Eichner announced he’s bringing back the beloved “talk show” as a web series, the comedian has released a new episode featuring Emma Stone and a whole lot of yelling. In the web series-only debut, Stone and Eichner walk around New York City asking one very important question: When will Emma Stone join Instagram?

Unlike some of Eichner’s other guests, Stone was recognized immediately by fans — well, kind of. The Oscar winner hammed it up with city dwellers as they discussed bubble tea, La La Land, and boomerangs (Eichner’s attempt at explaining boomerangs is worth watching), but one dude got his Emma wires crossed and confused Stone with Emma Watson. “What’s your favorite Emma Stone movie?” asked Eichner. “Uh, Harry Potter?” said the guy, giving Eichner all the ammo he needed to continue the bit. “That’s EMMA WATSON,” yelled Eichner, before turning to Stone and saying, “Why couldn’t you be Emma Watson?”

Eichner caught one women as she walked down the street eating a large tray of shrimp cocktail (New YAWK, baby!). “Miss, our democracy is crumbling, wanna say hello to Emma Stone?” asked Eichner. After the host made fun of her “marinara sauce,” the woman opted to cover her platter.  Don’t you just hate when Billy Eichner interrupts your on-the-go seafood lunch?

Another woman was super intent on convincing Stone to join Instagram. “How do you keep in touch with the latest things?” the woman asked. “Everything and everyone is on there. Even Will Smith just made an Instagram!” This got Eichner fired up. “Even Will Smith! Who are you to deny us!” he yelled as he ran away.

Eichner is a great interviewer, but he’s not so great at letting his guest get a word in. Stone says maybe all of four sentences throughout the six-minute segment, so don’t expect her get into the nitty-gritty of that epic Oscar mix-up. But despite some shyness on Stone’s part, Billy on the Street is back and better than ever.

Upcoming episodes of Billy on the Street will feature guest spots from stars like Tiffany Haddish, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more, so be sure to bookmark the show’s YouTube page and follow Eichner on Twitter for updates (you should also just follow him because he’s hilarious).
