Michelle Wolf Absolutely Destroyed Sarah Huckabee Sanders At The 2018 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Last night at the 2018 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, comedian Michelle Wolf laced into the usual clan of government officials, however, her best rips were saved for Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The women of the Trump administration seemed to be her primary target, and none of them seemed to be amused by her banter. First she went after Kellyanne Conway, claiming that the current Counselor to the President has “the perfect last name for what she does… Con-Way.”

Her attack on Conway continued with a request to the media to “stop putting Kellyanne” on their shows because “all she does is lie” and what they’re doing is giving her a “platform” to do so.

“It’s like that old saying, ‘if a tree falls in the woods, how do we get Kellyanne under that tree,’” Wolf said. “I’m not suggesting she gets hurt. Just stuck. Stuck under a tree.”

Her next remarks were saved for First Daughter and top White House aide Ivanka Trump, who she said was “supposed to be an advocate for women” but ended up being as helpful to women “as an empty box of tampons.”

“She’s done nothing to satisfy women. So I guess like father, like daughter,” Wolf added.

And finally, Wolf saved her most brutal remarks for Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was in attendance as a representative to the Trump White House (since Trump was not in attendance). Sanders was sitting just a few seats away from Wolf at the podium during the monologue and did not seem pleased.

Wolf first compared Sanders to Aunt Lydia on The Handmaid’s Tale by saying that she “loved” her on the show, adding that she actually “likes” her because she’s very resourceful in that she “burns facts” and uses the ash to create a “perfect smoky eye.”

“I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you know?” Wolf continued. “Is it Sarah Sanders? Is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Is it Cousin Huckabee? Is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what is Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women? I know… Aunt Coulter.”
