If you’re in the mood for some seriously compelling science fiction, Netflix’s reboot of Lost in Space is bound to be right up your alley – and fun for the whole family. Lost in Space: Season 1 *Netflix Original

The reboot fever continues with Lost in Space, a modern take on the 1960s TV series that sees the Robinson family stranded on an unknown planet after their ship encounters a rip in spacetime and they’re thrown off-course. As they try to acclimate to this alien environment and protect themselves in the process, the Robinsons and their fellow colonists must find a way to get off the planet and maintain their sanity in the process.

Bosch: Season 4 *Prime Original

The Bosch is back, baby! Your favorite LAPD homicide detective is back, and he’s juggling as many cases as he can carry. This fresh spin on the police procedural takes inspiration from Michael Connelly’s novels and plays it pretty safe, smartly integrating genre conventions with its own voice. The noir feeling and intrigue of each case stays strong in its fourth season, and Detective Bosch is better than ever. (And guess what?! They’ve been renewed for a fifth season, so you’ll be seeing a lot more Bosch in the future).

Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas: Series Premiere

Using his skills from his days at The Daily Show and his own comedic stylings, Wyatt Cenac’s new docuseries is something totally unique. Rather than attempting to join the chorus of voices tackling Trump each week, Cenac’s show seeks out solutions for problems that will still exist after the president has left the White House. The 10-episode first season explores policing across the United States, and Cenac’s approach offers a fresh, necessary perspective on the matter.
