Afternoon Delight: ‘Female Friendly’ Hilariously Brings Feminism Into The Adult Film Industry

What better way to prepare for the fast-approaching weekend than by indulging in the some of the Internet’s most well-done web content? Take advantage of your lunch break and treat yourself toAfternoon Delight, Decider’s carefully curated picks of the best short-form content available on the world wide web. This week we’re spotlighting Female Friendly, a feminist comedy web series with an unexpected edge.

Created by and starring Chelsea Alana Rivera and Taylor C. Baker, Female Friendly follows best friends Alex (Rivera) and Catherine (Baker), two twentysomething polar opposites who get dumped and fired, respectively, at the same time. After many a drink and some serious contemplation, the duo decides to start a female-friendly porn production company. “Women don’t want to see a girl getting plowed by two guys covered in tribal tattoos!” That’s right. After carefully considering what it is that’s missing from typical porn (“women deserve to have their clitorises caressed, their G-spots stimulated, etc. etc.), Alex and Catherine found Female Friendly Productions.

From pre-production and casting to friend fights and all the ins and out of productions, our leading ladies soon discover that making empowering porn may not be as easy as it seems. Entering the porn industry is no walk in the park, but with determination like this, Alex and Cat will give women what they want – one way or another. The series smartly blends their business endeavors with their personal lives, and we root for Alex as she dates, root for Cat in her rivalry. There’s a lot to love about Female Friendly, but its stars are by far the standouts.

With compact, compelling episodes, Female Friendly cuts right to the chase; if you’re tired of the same old sexytime being dominated by men and want more out of your solo entertainment endeavors, these ladies have you covered. The premise may be daunting, but thanks to Rivera and Baker’s unconventional chemistry, each scene is rife with goofy humor that strangely goes hand-in-hand with the subject matter.

Stream Female Friendly here, and be sure like the series on Facebook and follow them on Twitter for more outrageous antics.
