Looking for a rebound after finishing dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale? Netflix has found their answer to the Hulu hit in Alias Grace, a fascinating miniseries bound to leave you reeling. If you’re leaning towards lighter fare, no worries – favorite comedies like 13 Going on 30, Airplane!, and more are now available to stream on Hulu, and action lovers will get a kick out of Prime Video selections like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Bad Boys, Goldfinger, and a slew of others. Alias Grace *Netflix Original

From The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Margaret Atwood comes this true story based on the life of Grace Marks, an Irish immigrant and housemaid who was imprisoned in 1843 for the murder of her employer. Grace claims to have no memory of the murder, despite the evidence of her guilt being damning. Years later, a doctor tries to aid Grace in remembering her past – and some surprising things are revealed.

Get Out (2017)

Written by Jordan Peele, this critically acclaimed thriller is necessary viewing. Daniel Kaluuya stars as Chris, a young black man who travels with his white girlfriend to her parents’ estate for the weekend and discovers that the community’s seemingly polite facade is not all that it seems. A perfect commentary on the total terror experienced by black people in modern day America, this near-perfect film will hit home in more ways than one. What are you waiting for?! Shameless: Season 8 Premiere

The Gallaghers are back, baby, and might just be messier than ever. In Season 8, Frank (William H. Macy) decides it may finally be time to get his life together, while Fiona (Emmy Rossum) realizes that being a landlord might not be as simple as she anticipated. Debbie, meanwhile, tries to balance being a single mom and working her way through welding school, while Lip tries to get sober and Ian tries to get back with Trevor. There’s bound to be a nonstop slew of shenanigans this season – it wouldn’t be Shameless without them.
