There has never been a greater time in the history of television to be a hairpiece. They are getting all the attention right now! With the return of Good Behavior coming up, a show that has really revitalized the wig game, we decided to celebrate some of the best ones popping up on-screen right now.

Our favorite female (and male!) stars are looking fiercer than ever, whether they’re playing dress up or they’re disguising themselves on a top-secret mission, and these shows’ hair departments are straight up killin’ it. From dramas to comedies to reality, there’s no TV genre shying away from a hairpiece. For some characters, it’s a necessary part of the job. But for others? It’s just a damn fun night on the town.

The Americans has been known, for better or worse, for its wigs since the FX drama premiered, and we all know Bravo star Kim Zolciak Biermann never leaves home without her long locks. So other shows took note, and they wanted to get in on the fake hair fun as well — and that they did.

Many of these characters turn to a wig just the same way we turn to these TV shows — for an escape, for the chance to disappear into someone else or a new story, one that is exciting and fun and fashionable. But please, viewers, do not commit the crimes many of these masterminds attempt!

These are some of the best wig looks on TV right now, and remember, Halloween IS right around the corner.
