When it comes to summer TV, there’s one thing that has simply not left our minds for over a week and a half now, and it was that major moment on Power. It’s impossible to get over! The Starz drama has been (literally) killing it this season, and there’s a Woman Crush Wednesday we just have to honor.

As Tasha St. Patrick, Naturi Naughton has had her most incredible season yet. She’s been supportive and sexy, stern and silly, and a character we can (almost) always root for. The most recent, and devastating, development on the show will only allow her acting to soar to new heights.

WHO’S THAT GAL: Naturi Naughton

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Look, if we’re being honest, we’ve been crushing on Naturi since her 3LW days, and we know we’re not alone on that. But to see the successful career she’s carved out for herself along the way is nothing short of impressive. Although, we are still grateful that Power found a way to remind us of that incredible voice she’s got during a karaoke scene this season.

Naturi has bounced around from TV to movies to Broadway, comedies to dramas to musicals, and in them all, she’s brought her unique charm to the screen. She can play females that are both fierce and flirty, and has such a natural yet magnetic on-screen presence. Especially when it comes to a show like Power, which has really allowed her to show off every emotion possible — and yet, there’s still so much more to come.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: After her time in 3LW, Naturi hit Broadway to star in Hairspray as Little Inez. She followed that up with the much-talked about role as Lil’ Kim in the Notorious B.I.G. biopic, Notorious. She was cast as Denise in the 2009 film Fame, and recorded 5 songs for the soundtrack. From there, she went on to pop up in shows like Mad Men, The Playboy Club, and even It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. You can also catch her in the Bow Wow comedy Lottery Ticket and the Jennifer Love Hewitt drama The Client List. She’s starred as Tasha St. Patrick on Power since 2014, and we’ve been through a lot with her character since then.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: On the lighter side, you can see Naturi in the comedy flick Step Sisters, due out later this year. But we’ve already bitten our fingernails down in anticipation of this Sunday night’s Power season 4 finale. Where does the St. Patrick family even go from here? While there are still so many questions left unanswered, what we do know is that it will afford Naturi the opportunity to do some of the best, most emotional acting of her life, and we just cant wait to watch.
