Get ready not to leave your couch for the next few days, because with these titles, there is no reason to go outside. That’s right. The first season of Marvel’s The Defenders is finally available to stream on Netflix, so all you Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist (?) fans can finally rejoice in the union of your favorite heroes. Feeling a little more-light-hearted? No worries – Hulu’s got the complete first season of Better Things just in time for you to catch up before Season 2 drops this fall, and the final season of Episodes is finally premiering on Showtime Sunday evening. With titles like these, there’s really no way to go wrong. Queue up, cord-cutters. It’s gonna be a good one.

Marvel’s The Defenders: Season 1 *Netflix Original (2017)

Our favorite Netflix/Marvel heroes – Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) finally come together in this highly-anticipated series to save New York City from a fearsome foe and kick some major ass in the process. As Decider’s own Brett White says in his spoiler-free review of the first four episodes, the series “feels like a true hybrid, the sum being impossibly more enthralling than its charismatic parts. You can practically see the sparks flying as soon as these rock solid characters strike against each other.” If that doesn’t get you excited, we don’t know what will.

Better Things: Season 1 (2016)

If you loved Louie, you’ll undoubtedly be addicted to Better Things in no time. Created by Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon, the FX dramedy follows Sam (Adlon), a single mother with three daughters, as she attempts to strike a balance between parenthood and her career as a Hollywood actress. Whip smart, funny, and thoughtful, the unique series has sneakily cemented itself as one of the best currently on television.

Nocturnal Animals (2016)

Starring Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, and more, Tom Ford‘s strange, dark thriller sees a wealthy, stylish art gallery owner (Adams) receive a draft of her ex-husband’s (Gyllenhaal) novel and the emotional turmoil she experiences when she finds herself unable to put it down. As the novel becomes more and more disturbing and the lines between reality and fiction are blurred, this chilling story-within-a-story exposes dark truths about its protagonists with each development.
