A very thrifty fan has crafted a totally believable teaser trailer for a non-existent Netflix original remake of The Addams Family. The fake clip, which was posted to Facebook last week, combines footage from existing shows and the original 1991 film to show us what a modern version of the story could potentially look like.

According to The Huffington Post, footage from shows like Penny Dreadful and Crimson Peak were used in the trailer along with clips of a number of traditional characters from the movie. Fans were not only fooled by the clip, but even began to suggest casting like Eva Green as Morticia and Oscar Isaac as Gomez. Unfortunately, there are no known plans for any Netflix reboot of the classic tale at this time.
