Happy Wednesday, and more specifically, Happy Woman Crush Wednesday! We’ve been having A LOT of emotions about the fact that Girls is back on HBO, but also that this is the last season of the show ever.

In honor of savoring the last episodes of Girls, we’re celebrating the one and only Sosh today, Zosia Mamet.

WHO’S THAT GAL: Zosia Mamet

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Last season, Soshanna’s storyline brought her to Japan for some of the most memorable episodes for her character throughout the entire Girls run. As Zosia herself has noted of her character in the current season, “She’s taken some of the bolder steps, but also fallen the hardest in some ways, so I’m excited for everyone to see the growth that she has this season.”

Of course there will be growth for Sosh! Portraying her has given Zosia opportunities to play everything from stressed and freaking out, to taking big gambles that open her up to the world and herself, bringing the character a new sophistication and intelligence that only comes with experience and age.

We’ve seen Soshanna navigate the waters of her romantic life, her school and work life, and mostly figuring out how to be an adult in both New York City and the world. Many viewers have related to Sosh, and a lot of that is due to the endearing and relatable nature Zosia brings to her on-screen.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Before the first season of Girls premiered on HBO in 2012, Zosia could be seen in the film The Kids Are All Right and TV shows such as United States of Tara, Parenthood, and Mad Men. She’s also had roles in 2013’s The Last Keepers, and starred alongside Jessica Biel in 2015’s Bleeding Heart.

Last year she popped up in Weiner-Dog and had a memorable role in the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER NEXT: Zosia will appear in the films The Boy Downstairs and thriller Under The Silver Lake with Andrew Garfield, which is due out later this year. She’s also got Mapplethorpe and An Affair coming up, but for now, we’re invested in the current season of Girls. Where will Sosh go from here? Will she be okay? Will she chill out? No matter what the answers to those questions are, we’re ready to follow her on her fast-talking journey.
