The first month of the year is winding to an end, and February is on the horizon. For a lot of people, the end of the month just means you’ll have to pay your rent soon, but for the streaming savvy it means a ton of new shows and movies are in your near future. There aren’t many new titles this weekend, but if you know where to look, there are some gems. The biggest premiere is likely for the second season of Hulu’s cult-focused and Aaron Paul-led drama The Path. Also new to Hulu are Dirty Grandpa and Roseanne Barr‘s new standup special, Roseanne for President. If you’re looking to get into Oscar season, Netflix has just added an interview with Oprah Winfrey and Ava DuVernay about Duvernay’s documentary 13TH. Speaking of documentaries, HBO recently added its chilling true crime doc, Beware the Slenderman. In the mood for something lighter? The Nice Guys is coming to HBO, Josh Gad has a new standup special, and Sharknado: The 4th Awakens is on Netflix. All this and so much more awaits you, so start streaming.

The Path: Season 2 *Hulu Original

It’s finally time to return to the world of creepy cults, and we couldn’t be more excited. Starring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy, The Path follows Eddie (Paul), a husband and father who becomes increasingly more suspicious of Meyerism, his family’s religion. Can he find the truth and keep his family? Will Hugh Dancy be even creepier this season? We’ll find out soon.

The Nice Guys (2016)
