Dish’s popular live television streaming service Sling TV has revealed that it will soon launch a brand new AirTV player that is touting Netflix integration. The sleek white and sky blue device is equipped with an easy-to-use remote with voice support and will take on competitors such as Apple TV and Roku.
With the new platform, subscribers will be able to access their current Sling TV subscription services, Netflix, local OTA channels, as well as their sound system “with the simplicity of an app” while using the remote. Variety reports that the device is based on Android, so it could potentially also run TV apps from Hulu, Prime Video and other SVOD competitors.

Netflix has released the official trailer to Travelers, the platform’s forthcoming time-traveling series premiering December 23. Starring Will & Grace’s Eric McCormack, the original sci-fi series in partnership with Canadian TV channel Showcase centers around a group of humans in the 21st century on a mission to avert disaster:
Amazon Studios announced today that the Prime Video original film Gleason will premiere exclusively via the platform on December 29. According to a press release, the Sundance documentary based on the extraordinary story of New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason features two original songs by Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready.
The very first photo of the entire cast of the forthcoming Netflix original series, Marvel’s The Punisher, has been making its rounds. Actor Daniel Webber, who portrays young veteran Lewis Walcott in the show, had recently shared the group photo captioned “Welcome to team Punisher” on his Instagram page:
