Netflix has announced the premiere dates for their next slate of stand-up comedy specials, which will include pre-recorded performances by Cedric the Entertainer, Dana Carvey, Joe Rogan, Reggie Watts and more. Cedric the Entertainer: Live from the Ville will be the first to premiere on September 16, adding to the platform’s growing library of exclusive comedy features.

According to a press release, Dana Carvey: Straight White Male, 60 will follow with a premiere on November 4, after which Joe Rogan’s Triggered will premiere on October 21. Other newly-announced stand-up specials include Russell Peters: Almost Famous (October 7), Colin Quinn: The New York Story (November 18), Michael Che Matters (November 25), Reggie Watts: Spatial (December 6) and Gabriel lglesias: I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry (December 20).

Amazon has announced that a Prime Video original TV adaptation of Martin Scorsese’s 2006 Oscar-winning film The Departed is currently in development. The brand new series is being produced by Amazon Studios, as well as Vertigo Entertainment, Initial Entertainment Group and Plan B Entertainment (all of which produced the original film). [Deadline]
