‘Loredana, Esq.’ Star Loredana Nesci Murdered in Los Angeles

Loredana Nesci, star of the Sundance Channel reality show Loredana, Esq., was reportedly found dead last night in her Los Angeles home. The police are treating this death as a homicide and have arrested Nesci’s partner, Robert Reagan, on suspicion of murder.

Nesci made a name for herself in legal circles in the mid-Aughts after a profile of her ran in the Connecticut Law Tribune that dubbed her “The Legal Diva.” This notoriety springboarded Nesci’s transition from lawyer to reality TV star, as she moved from the East Coast to California and began working in radio. Shortly thereafter, her vibrant personality and leading lady looks landed her a reality TV deal with the prestigious Sundance Channel network, who produced six episodes of Loredana, Esq. that aired in 2014.

The show was notable for a few things, chiefly its high production values, likable star and (semi) relatable cases. Nesci didn’t represent hardened criminals, but instead people who had made some bad decisions in their lives—like the fellow above who got busted for what he calls “a Brooklyn slap”, or the owner of legal medicinal marijuana outlet that got served with a cease-and-desist—and needed help making their way through the legal process.

Nesci, 47, suffered a fatal gunshot wound, allegedly at the hands of the father of her young child, Rocco Nesci-Reagan. The couple’s son was reportedly not home at the time of the crime.
