Dakota Johnson‘s star keeps rising thanks to her starring role in Fifty Shades of Grey, but before she was getting spanked and tied up on the big screen, she was just the daughter of Hollywood A-listers Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. Griffith accompanied her daughter to tonight’s Oscars ceremony, and it didn’t take long for the pair to get into a little tiff on the red carpet.
ABC’s Lara Spencer asked Griffith the question we all want to know: has she seen Fifty Shades of Grey? She said no, saying that she didn’t need to see it to know that her daughter is a great actress. Annnnnnnnnd that’s when we got the best televised family feud since, well, Friday’s Family Feud, I guess, which ended in Dakota Johnson cursing out her mother for being so damn square.
