Final Shots: ‘American Horror Story’ Renewed For A Fifth Season

FX isn’t about to let American Horror Story: Freak Show‘s record breaking ratings go unrewarded. On Monday, the network announced that it has renewed Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s horror anthology series for a fifth season, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Even though it comes so early in the season — the season premire only aired last Wednesday — it’s not much of a surprise, especially since the network green lighted a spin-off series, American Crime Story, last week. Now the big question is whether Jessica Lange is really serious about the fourth season being her last.
