As you read this, your fantasy football team is tied for first place.

How many losses do you have this season? Zero! That’s how many.

You are basically a genius. Keep it up.

Here are 15 “under the radar” players to watch when training camp kicks off next month. If all goes well, these players could give you the type of value in the middle rounds that helps separate you from the competition.

Quarterbacks (2)

1.    Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons

He’s getting older, he’s not flashy in any way, but Cousins is capable of putting up plenty of fantasy points on a rising Falcons team that is loaded with playmakers.

2.    Daniel Jones, New York Giants

Please stop laughing. Yes, last season was pitiful, but the Giants remain committed to Jones. He has a rookie wideout who could be a star in Malik Nabers, and he still has great mobility that adds to his fantasy value.

3.    Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals

The Joe Mixon Era is over in Cincinnati. Brown is poised to carry the bulk of the load for the Bengals and is certainly a player worth watching in training camp.

4.    Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers

Here’s another player to watch during camp. Chuba Hubbard has the early edge as the Panthers’ No. 1 running back, but Brooks has a higher ceiling and should get a chance to shine after Carolina selected him in the second round out of Texas.

5.    Aaron Jones, Minnesota Vikings

It seems so weird to type “Minnesota Vikings” next to Jones’ name. He landed in a great offense after the Green Bay Packers released him this offseason. Think he’s motivated to show the Packers they made a mistake?

6.    Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams

Nobody is breaking down the doors to grab the No. 83 overall pick in this spring’s NFL draft. Corum is a good player, but the reason to keep an eye on him in camp is because he landed in a great situation as a new piece in Sean McVay’s offense.

7.    Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos

A couple years ago, Williams was the next big thing. Injuries and inconsistency have dogged him since then, but don’t give up yet. He’s only 24 and could play a prominent role on a Denver offense that lacks a formidable passing game.

Fantasy Football Under the Radar Wide Receivers (5)

8.    Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Look for a major second-year bounce from Smith-Njigba, who had a relatively quiet rookie campaign with 63 catches for 628 yards and four touchdowns. More targets should be coming his way, and with that will come a boost in production.

9.    Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears

The Bears have an embarrassment of riches at wide receiver (imagine reading this as your younger self). D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen will command fantasy attention, but Odunze seems to have found instant chemistry with fellow first-round pick Caleb Williams. Watch those two in camp to see if it continues.

10. Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints

Shaheed might not be a household name to the casual football fan, but he has an opportunity to be the Saints’ top option in the passing game. The 25-year-old finished 2023 with a pair of touchdowns in his last three games.

11. Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills

Here is another rookie to watch – and, as with Corum, this has as much to do with his situation as it has to do with his skillset. Coleman is on this list because he is playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen, and the Bills need someone to fill the void of Stefon Diggs.

12. Curtis Samuel, Buffalo Bills

We’re throwing two darts in Buffalo. At least one is going to hit. Samuel, like Coleman, will benefit from Allen’s big arm. The Bills are going to score points, and you could find great value by sneaking Samuel on your roster in the middle rounds.

Fantasy Football Sleeper Tight Ends (3)

13. Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers

If your league includes a category for vowels in a player’s last name, then you definitely will want to add Freiermuth. That’s like 27 vowels or something. (We’re not math majors.) Towels and vowels rhyme, and Steelers fans could be waving their rally towels often as Russell Wilson looks for Freiermuth in the red zone.

14. Tyler Conklin, New York Jets

It’s so easy to make fun of Aaron Rodgers, who is an all-time weirdo. But Rodgers still can play football in addition to flapping his gums. Conklin stands to benefit in a big way if Rodgers can play a full season.

15. Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

Henry is another quiet, capable target at tight end. If other owners in your league pluck the top tight ends off the board a little early for your liking, you could do worse than to wait on Henry. The Patriots have a new offensive coordinator and could learn on their tight end in the passing game, particularly near the goal line.
