FX’s Fargo marked its 10th anniversary in April, and creator-showrunner Noah Hawley is still finding new ways to expand its universe including the critically acclaimed fifth season — which is very much in the Emmy conversation right now — just as he continues to prepare to launch the first season of his FX version of Alien.

Writing most if not all episodes, directing a few and continuing his wildly successful efforts in adapting classic movies like the above two into completely different but also reverential television series, Hawley is finding much inspiration these days, as he tells me in this week’s edition of my Deadline video series Behind the Lens.
