‘SNL’ Promo: Maya Rudolph And Kenan Thompson Go Vampire Weekend Hunting

This week’s SNL host Maya Rudolph was joined by veteran SNL cast member Kenan Thompson for the traditional Thursday promo to welcome this week’s musical guest, Vampire Weekend.

The first bit saw them adopt fake Transylvanian accents to mock the band. Then a longstanding beef about a missing hair dryer stirred things up, followed by a big reveal on how Vampire Weekend developed its name.

Fortunately, things end on a “resplendent” note.
