We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager that will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The offered position is suitable for an experienced Quality professional, who already lead Quality Teams or wants to take the next step and develop in this direction. FDH is looking to be the customers’ first choice when it comes to speed and quality of execution; we are looking to be disruptive, unconventional yet highly professional.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Developing quality control and inspection processes.
• Responsible for internal and external audits (supplier and customer quality audits).
• Supervising staff and monitoring quality control and inspection standards.
• Rejecting products that fail quality standards.
• Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback.
• Producing statistical reports on quality standards.
• Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues.
• Responsible for part master data.
• Claim management.
• Evaluating product recalls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Quality Management, Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering or vocational qualification, f.e. as Industriemechaniker (m/f/d), Staatliche geprüfter Techniker (m/f/d)
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within the Aerospace industry
• Familiarity with quality standards, specifications, and regulations relevant to Aerospace distribution
• Proficient in the use of measurement equipment such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Fluent knowledge of English, German and French are an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems
