Quality Engineer

We’re pleased to present the opportunity to join Urenco as Quality Engineer. Based at our Gronau site. you’ll support, control and inspect during the technical process to ensure a high standard quality Culture.

What will your day look like? (4-6 bullet pointed list of key responsibilities)

• contribute to and promote a (new) Integrated Quality Management System procedures, instructions and forms for UTD
• support the QHSE Manager as to the Risk Register within Urenco UTD.
• participate during the design and implementation phase of projects
• initiate, drive and lead Continuous Improvement projects
• drive lessons learned from quality issues
• keep regulatory requirements up to date and coach departments where needed in the proper use perform and support internal and external (supplier) audits, evaluations and assessments against relevant norms to assure quality of work products and process activities for projects
  
  

What do you need to be great at this role?

• Background in Technical Business Processes and Engineering (areas: Electrical, mechanical, systems or instrumental)
• Experience in running technical Quality in projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO, ASTM, DIN, BSI and other international standards
• Experienced in running technical Quality in (nuclear) projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards
• Ability to create an Integrated QCP’s
• Experienced with certification processes within the technical industry
