Bullish through its German subsidiaries (Bullish DE) have applied for a crypto custody and principal brokerage/proprietary trading licenses. In line with these commitments we are expanding into Germany.

The Manager, Customer Onboarding role is responsible for implementing Bullish DE’s (BDE) Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process. This role will review potential BDE customers (Corporate and Individual) for suitability, eligibility, and make onboarding recommendations on a risk-based approach. The Manager, Customer Onboarding will also coordinate with the global Bullish Onboarding team to ensure that interactions with customers across all Bullish entities are at a high standard of compliance and service.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CDD on German corporate and individual customers, including enhanced due diligence (EDD) and periodic reviews
  • Make Onboarding recommendations to senior management related to potential customers
  • Understand and apply the overlapping local and global regulatory requirements
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure that potential customers are properly assessed to identify possible integrity / financial crime / sanctions / terrorism linked risks and onboarded in a compliant manner
  • Support the Global Bullish team as needed with CDD related tasks
  • Create and manage customer accounts
  • Occasional travel may be required



Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of directly related experience in a corporate onboarding role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day KYC onboarding compliance affairs
  • Good knowledge on provisions of crypto/fiat licensed entities local laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable
  • Sounded market knowledge of leading edge KYC solutions and market practices
  • Competent in coordinating, organizing and relationship building; excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills with fluent written and spoken English and German (C level). Additional language skills are a plus, but not essential


Preferred skills:

  • Highly preferred for candidates to possess ACAMS / CAMS / CCAS / ICA certifications or similar
  • Professional experience at a digital assets company is a major plus
  • Good knowledge of upcoming regulations of virtual currency policies is a strong plus
