We are currently recruiting for a Lean Warehousing Manager to contribute towards the implementation of a Lean operating model within our European business in order to standardize and continuously improve operations, processes and performance.
Reporting to the Head of Lean Warehousing Management, this role will initiate and implement ideas for improvement, provide guidance and monitor and analyze performance metrics to support continuous improvement through our national and regional warehouses.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of Lean Six Sigma within logistics or manufacturing and enjoys collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment. As this is a European role it will require travelling to our locations approximately 50% of the time and working from our central warehouse in Sulzbach Rosemberg, Nürnberg.

Key Responsibilities
Working in accordance with Lean methodology and providing training and coaching in the culture of Lean thinking to the local team
Monitoring and analyzing internal logistic processes
Coordinating the Lean implementation project, ensuring alignment with both technical and managerial aspects of the European roadmap
Proposing and supporting the improvement of distribution center (DC) performance by promoting the use of Lean tools and techniques
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within both national and regional warehouses
Facilitating problem-solving activities using specific Lean tools
Performing methods-time measurement (MTM) analysis to identify logistic standard time and support in the preparation of reports
Skills and Experience needed
Minimum of 3 years Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification)
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive, logistics or warehousing sector
Good knowledge of internal logistics flow, both inbound and outbound
Available to travel 50% of the time
Competence in the implementation of Lean manufacturing projects
Excellent knowledge of PC software, including Microsoft Word and Excel applications and Minitab
Fluent in both written and spoken English language
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of end-to-end warehousing processes
Ability to actively listen and involve people while working within a multicultural team
Results oriented with an aptitude for project coordination.
