Your mission
As a (Junior) Technical Content Writer at Carly you'll be the driving force behind our car repair and maintenance content. With your automotive expertise and editorial skills, you will leverage our customer insights, which guide the company's success, making Carly a leading product in automotive technology.

Your responsibilities
  • Fully manage/support taking ownership of the production of Repair and Maintainance (R&M) content, ensuring it aligns with product structures and designs.
  • Own/support developing and managing the editorial calendar for R&M content, ensuring all materials are in sync with product designs.
  • Oversee content categories including Smart Mechanic tool, and Community, ensuring closed content gaps, SEO optimization, and high customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Corodinate/lead liasons with mechanics and automotive experts to review and verify the technical accuracy of all mechanical content.
  • Define requirements for each content type, create R&M content, conduct expert reviews, adhere to style guides, and ensure content updates.
  • Own/support seamless integration of content into the CMS, ensuring accessibility and coherence.
  • Monitor and analyze user engagement and technical issues via analytics tools, providing actionable insights to improve content effectiveness and product functionality.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to align with business objectives, optimizing performance and strategic alignment.

Your profile
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in technical writing, particularly in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • You possess a strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization, and can translate complex automotive technical concepts into clear, engaging content for a general audience.
  • You are experienced with content management systems, localization platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel).
  • Your organizational skills are excellent, managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • You have strong communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including mechanics, product managers, and developers.
  • You are detail-oriented with a commitment to technical accuracy and creative storytelling.
  • You have a passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in the latest car repair technologies and trends.
