Our global client is a global transportation and logistics company. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their growing team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations and ensure alignment with company policies and local labor laws
  • Support the HR team in implementing HR projects and initiatives
  • Drive the recruitment process, ensuring timely and efficient hiring
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and temporary workers, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and works constitution law
  • Advise and support employees and supervisors on all personnel, labor, and works constitution law issues
  • Develop and maintain a strong, flexible relationship with the works council
  • Prepare works council templates and conduct hearings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Manage contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and other personnel documents
  • Conduct return-to-work discussions and manage employee relations
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with personnel service providers and legal advisors to ensure compliance and address HR-related legal matters
  • Support the HR team in planning deadlines, organizing tasks, and executing HR transactions


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in human resources, with a focus on HR generalist functions and recruitment
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with works councils
  • Strong knowledge of German labor and social security law
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • High level of initiative, creativity, and confidentiality
