MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading Sports brand, on the search for a Director of Ecommerce, based in Germany. This will be a key role in growing the digital business internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and optimisation of the eCommerce website to enhance the user experience, increase conversions, and improve site performance.
• Implement best practices for SEO, user interfaces, and customer journey to maximise organic traffic and customer retention.
• Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
• Build and lead a high performing digital team.
• Drive sales and revenue growth through strategic initiatives, optimization of the online shopping experience, and expansion into new markets and channels.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and increase customer retention, leveraging data-driven insights and customer segmentation techniques.
• Oversee the management and optimization of the ecommerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience across all devices.
• Lead the digital marketing team to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.
• Utilize ecommerce analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, analyse trends, and identify opportunities.

What are we looking for?

• 8+ years’ experience in eCommerce (Sports/Fashion/Retail industries).
• Experience leading eCommerce and marketplace strategies in a fast-paced and competitive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of eCom platforms, marketplaces, digital marketing, SEO, and user experience optimisation.
• Experience in driving sales growth across digital channels.
• Experience working with third-party eCommerce marketplaces and track record of successful partnership management.
